Happy Anniversary Lauren and Brett!

The Logan hotel wedding   The Logan Hotel Wedding

Lauren and Brett are celebrating one year of marriage together after getting married at The Logan Hotel Philadelphia. They married inside at The Logan’s ballroom after dating for 9 years. They were set up by friends for a date party, and the rest is history. During their vows, both of them spoke about how special that night was to them. It was their first day together that would eventually lead them to their wedding.  Their vows were heartfelt and mixed with some inside jokes, which really encapsulated their relationship.

When exchanging their vows, Lauren and Brett stood beneath a lovely decorated chuppah created by Jamie Rothstein. As they wrapped up, Brett’s voice began to waver as his emotions got the best of him. It was a lovely ceremony overall and happy tears were shed from family and friend. From one long ago magical night, to their wedding day, Lauren and Brett took their next step in life together as husband and wife.

Perhaps the next happiest person aside from the bride and groom was Lauren’s father. Before the ceremony, he saw his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. He beamed at her and exclaimed, “you look gorgeous! Wow!” Throughout the day, he continually smiled and looked upon his daughter with joy. During the reception, he spoke of how happy Lauren makes everyone around her, and how grateful he is to now have Brett as part of the family. It is easy to tell where Lauren gets her friendly and loving personality from.

Our team from Allure Films worked alongside Baiada Photography to capture all of these special moments at The Logan. The party picked up with live music from EBE Talent’s London Bridge. There was so much energy and excitement in the room for the reception. The two were lifted high during the Hora as their party guests held them and danced around them.  During the speeches, everyone that spoke looked upon Lauren and Brett with admiration. The dancing and speeches kept the night energetic and full of love and laughter.

We noticed a common theme of all of the speeches throughout each. Over again, Lauren and Brett are referred to not only as each other’s partners, but their best friends. That is such an important part of a relationship. A great romance with a solid friendship as a foundation makes the best partnership in life. Lauren and Brett are a team built on communication, trust, and friendship.

We are so happy to be a part of Lauren and Brett’s special day. It was a wonderful experience to watch you two come together. We hope you two had a great first year together as husband and wife, and look upon your wedding film for years to come. Mazle tov! Happy anniversary!

A Backyard Zoom Wedding for Jessica and Sandy

October 28, 2020 Ceremony Locations

After months of planning and re-planning, Jessica and Sandy decided on a backyard zoom wedding. Due to the recent changes with COVID-19, the pair had to change their wedding date and location three times. Their passion for planning their wedding pushed them forward though. Nothing would stop these two from tying the knot. At the end of their planning, they had their ceremony in a relative’s backyard. It ended up being just as special for the two, even if their original plans had changed so much.

The front and back yard were decorate in autumn themed decor. Pumpkins and hay bales were artfullyplaced. The fall wedding details pulled the venue together for a beautiful set up. They even had a station for guests to grab covers in case of chilly weather with a sign stating “To have and to hold, in case you get cold.”

The venue was covered in clever decorations like this. They also included a record player with a sign saying, “For the record, can we have your autograph?” This was for  guests to sign notes to the happy couple. Even the pool had floating letters in it for Jessica and Sandy!

For guests who could not attend, our team put together a zoom wedding video set up. Jessica and Sandy were able to connect with their guests via the video. It was a touching scene to watch them celebrate with people near and far. Those joining in were able to give their well wishes to the couple, and see great moments including their first dance.

We were so happy to be a part of such a wonderfulday. Even through the twists and turns of wedding planning, Jessica and Sandy still had such a beautiful and special day. It shows how much love and care there is out there. Jessica and Sandy’s friends and family pulled their wedding together in a matter of days! The effort and unconditional love shown from their families is what brought this day together. Jessica and Sandy, we want to wish you a very happy marriage and hope you enjoy many more exciting days.  We cannot wait to share the upcoming wedding video!

Weddings Safety During COVID-19

Wedding Safety Covid-19Allure Films’ Commitment to Wedding Safety

Weddings are still happening right now, and our Allure Films team wants to make our clients feel as safe as possible on their wedding days. We work with clients in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, primarily, and we follow all Pennsylvania COVID-19 event requirements. Pre coronavirus, our goal was to capture a celebration while not being intrusive. That is still the case for today as well, just with extra precautions. Some additions include specialized sanitation practice, Zoom video, and physical distancing.

Over the years, we received many reviews from clients saying that they did not even realize we were filming until seeing the video after. Our videographers tell a story from the background and catch the intimate details that make the wedding so special.

Now, a little has changed. Generally, the only time we need to interact during the event is to put a microphone on someone. These microphones are wiped down and sanitized before and after. There are quite a few ways to limit interaction between us, the couple, and the guests. There are even ways to include those who could not attend.

We have introduced the idea of a Zoom Wedding. Weddings are not only for the couple, but also to celebrate among family and friends. To adhere to safety conditions, we set up a Zoom call for guests to join. Guests can use a specialized link to view their loved ones special day and wish them congratulatory remarks. Streaming a wedding is a simple and safe way to include guests who cannot attend.

Along with sanitation practices, our videographers wear masks and social distance from the couple and their guests. We adhere to all CDC guidelines to ensure that any event is the safest it can possibly be. Some of our cameras are also remote operated. These cameras are meant to stay in one place and capture that area while we control how they operate from a distance. We do everything we can to ensure that we are out of sight and out of mind, while still presenting a beautiful film at the end of the day.

A Boutique Wedding at Cescaphe’s Vie

Philadelphia, PA | Allure Films Videographer

During the current changes in everyday life, weddings are evolving. Amidst event restrictions, couple Sara and Mitchell found a way to celebrate their marriage with a boutique wedding. Cescaphe Event Group hosted them at their venue, Vie in their outdoor courtyard. Though their wedding shrunk in size, the day still encompassed the large-scale love between Sarah and Mitchell.

For guests that could not attend, we streamed the wedding and reception so everyone could join virtually. Loved ones flooded into the video stream to wish the couple well on the start of their new life together. This was a great way to let everyone attend, even if they could not be there physically. This has become a popular option for couples who celebrate during this time.

Though events have changed, there are still unique ways to celebrate a wedding. Sara and Mitchell celebrated their boutique wedding in style at Vie with entertainment for BVT Live’s Big Ric Rising. The outdoor courtyard gave them an intimate setting with beautiful decor. The event was elegant, quaint, and full of love. Whether celebrated with many of few, a wedding is about the bride and groom starting a new chapter of their life together. Sara and Mitchell were never worried about “getting through quarantine” together, because they already knew they would be together forever.

In her vows, Sara says, “People keep saying if we can get through quarantine and covid together, we can get through anything. They’re not wrong, but I never had any doubts. To me, there is no one else.” Love can persevere through anything, and we are so happy our Allure Films team captured this milestone for Sara and Mitchell at their boutique wedding.

Congratulations again and mazel tov Sara and Mitchell! We wish you both so many happy days together.

A Wintery Wedding at Hotel Du Pont

July 17, 2020 Hotel DuPont, Wedding Films

 Wilmington, Delaware  | Allure Films

Hotel DuPont WeddingDiana and Curt celebrated their glamorous wedding at Hotel Du Pont in Delaware. Our Allure Films team supplied them with our videography skills to capture their day on film. Now looking back, they can relive all of their beautiful wedding day memories.

At the start of their day, Diana and her bridesmaids began prepping for the event. In matching floral robes, everyone bustled around getting ready for the celebration. Diana’s love of florals showed even more in her gold sparkling and flower print heels. The final step of getting ready is always the most important: the dress. The wedding dress is a seemingless transition from fiancee to bride. With a little help from mom to finish getting the dress on and the veil on her head, Diana was ready.

Before going out to start the ceremony however, Diana’s father came to see her for the first time in her wedding attire. He was all smiles as he saw his daughter for the first time, and seemed to be fighting back some happy tears as well. At the reception, Diana’s father emphasized “Today I did not give my daughter away, I simply walked her down the aisle.” He followed this up by stating that their family welcomed Curt in as the “starting quarterback” to Diana’s team. A wedding is exactly that, a team effort. It is two people merging their families together to create an even better team of support and love.

After being walked down the aisle, Diana met Curt for the start of their ceremony. Hotel Du Pont was beautifully decorated in a wintery theme. Cream colored flowers, evergreen sprigs, and pinecones lined the aisle. Diana’s bridesmaids also wore dark green gowns to match. The venue gave Diana and Curt the perfect backdrop to exchange their vows.

Diana and Curt prepared personal vows to exchange with each other, and both shared a common theme. Curt started saying that he will always be Diana’s happy dancing partner, patient husband, and loyal, faithful, and loving best friend. Diana ended her vows with “and most importantly you’re my best friend in the entire universe.” Each set of vows emphasized what a spouse should be: a best friend.

Finally, the officiant proclaimed Diana and Curt husband and wife.  The two happily made their way back up the aisle to begin their reception. Upon entering, Curt carried Diana through the open doors. Diana cheered and waved her bouquet in the air. The guest clapped for the newlyweds and began the party.

During the reception, BVT Live entertained. Everyone danced with a mixture of smooth and silly moves. Most importantly though, everyone had a great time celebrating Diana and Curt’s special day. Working alongside us, our friends from Philip Gabriel Photography captured amazing photos for the bride and groom. We are so happy that Diana and Curt will be able to look back on their wedding film and photography from this day to relive all of these memories.

Congratulations Curt and Diana! We wish you many more joyful days together. Thank you for choosing us as your wedding videographer. We can’t wait to see where life takes you both!
