For Allie & Dan, the little beach town of Avalon, New Jersey is more than just a place where they spend their summers soaking up the sun. It’s where they met each other and found their soulmate for life.
Five years ago, Allie met Dan at a party in Avalon, and from that moment on the pair were inseparable. Recently, the couple started a new chapter together by officially tying the knot and becoming husband and wife.
The bride and groom were married in a lovely Catholic ceremony at St. Patrick’s in Malvern, PA. The space was filled with beautiful floral arrangements by Tish Long.
Do any of Allie’s bridesmaids look familiar? That’s because Allure Films bride Meggie happens to be Allie’s sister and bridesmaid! As a filmmaker, it is a very unique experience when we are asked to document the different weddings of siblings within the same family. Photographer David Campli of Campli Photography was also there to capture all those amazing moments throughout the day.
The wedding ceremony was followed by a relaxing outdoor cocktail hour held at Springton Manor Farm. During cocktail hour the couple’s guests were able to drink, mingle, and take in the beautiful scenery of the property before sitting down for a delicious main course catered by J. Scott Catering. Everyone at the reception was on their feet the whole night dancing to an incredible set by the band The Heartbeats.

We love it when we’re asked to film military weddings!
Recently, Meggie and Gordon – members of the US Navy – returned to Meggie’s hometown to exchange their vows. As members of the US Navy, they had spent plenty of time traveling the world, and were more than happy to finally celebrate their special day with all of their family and friends at home in Malvern.
Allure Films and Campli Photography were there to document the couple’s special day from beginning to end. After Meggie got ready in her childhood home, she walked down the aisle of St. Patrick’s Church. She was married to Gordon in a traditional ceremony, which was just as beautiful as the bride was!
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the stunning Aronimink Golf Club, which was finely decorated with floral arrangements and centerpieces designed by Tish Long. The bride and groom arrived to the party in style, wearing his-and-hers monogrammed loafers as Meggie rocked her US Navy t-shirt with her new last name on the back.
One of the best moments we captured was on the dance floor, when Meggie showed off her dancing skills by doing the classic “worm” in her wedding dress! We also loved the looks on the bride and groom’s faces as they cut their wedding cake with the ceremonial sword, a true military wedding tradition.

It was a pleasure to celebrate & capture the Phoenixville Foundry’s 5th Anniversary! This turn-of-the-century location is the perfect combination of historic and modern, all wrapped into one. It was great sharing this occasion with such a tremendous team of event professionals on-hand. J. Scott Catering provided a delectable assortment of food for the evening. BVTLive’s band, All About Me, really got the party going, as guests danced the night away. We were happy to team up with Campli Photography to capture all the great moments. The Allure team has shared so many unforgettable celebrations at the Foundry over the years, so we were thrilled to be a part of the 5 year anniversary. Congratulations to the Foundry on an incredible 5 years, and here’s to many more!
