A Wonderful Winter Wedding At The Atrium At The Curtis Center
Everyone loves the classic love story of a cheerleader and a football player falling head-over-heels for each other. Abby & Tommy’s story is sort of like that. While one might assume the two met on the football field, the twist is the two met while working at State Farm. Who’da thunk it?!
As filmmakers, we love capturing the pre-ceremony prep portion of the big day. While the bride and groom are getting ready, they’ll usually read letters dedicated to their soon-to-be spouse and open gifts from one another. We love the thought that went behind Abby’s unique gift to Tommy: an antique 1948 Pennsylvania Railroad Conductors watch! In her letter to Tommy, Abby wrote, “I thought it was the perfect gift because I hope that with each tick our love continues to grow stronger.” How can that not pull on your heartstrings?! We also dare you not to shed a tear as Tommy’s daughter reads her special letter written for her.
Abby & Tommy exchanged their vows before friends and family at Cescaphe’s Atrium at the Curtis Center. Beautiful Blooms designed all of the beautiful floral arrangements seen at the wedding, from the bridal party bouquets to the flower arch at the altar.
Aside from the Allure Films crew being their to document the big day on film, photographer Susan Stripling was there to capture all of the moments inside, as well as outdoors against the romantic, snowy backdrop in Rittenhouse Square. It’s always a great time working with Susan!
The reception was truly a celebration consisting of a great meal, speeches and music performed by BVTLive’s Jellyroll. As dog lovers ourselves, we also loved the incredible ice sculpture modeled after Abby & Tommy’s beloved Weimaraner, Norman.
Congratulations Abby & Tommy! Here’s to an amazing future together.
