I recently covered a private party in which Grammy Award Winner James Taylor was the featured entertainment. I had a chance to hang out with James for over an hour prior to his performance. He was really down to earth and had a great personality. James performed all of his top songs including “Sweet Baby James” and “Carolina On My Mind.” This will be a night I will never forget.

It was a great pleasure to work with my great friend Joe Bradley while filming an interview Philadelphia Phillies legendary Hall of fame player Mike Schmidt. Schmidt is considered one of the greatest third basemen of all time and spent his entire spectacular career with the Philadelphia Phillies. It was wonderful to meet a true legend, and have the opportunity to film a great interview.
What a surprise to open up the July/August issue of http://www.catersource.com/ and see my grinning face next to one of the articles! The article sums up the findings of a 2010 study done by the National Association of Catering Executives about the number of weddings taking place over the last couple of years. They concluded that about 76% more weddings have been taking place in 2010 as opposed to 2009, a great sign of the improving economy. As a board member for NACE, I’ve been introduced to so many opportunities and have met so many great people. It is a resource for event professionals to stay up to date on growing trends in the industry. I’m proud to see such a great organization get recognized and even more flattered that they used me in their ad!

Video One had an amazing time shooting the wedding of Allison and Andy. We were honored to witness their exciting and fun wedding day! The ceremony was beautiful and The Loews Hotel Philadelphia hosted a gorgeous reception where Allison and Andy’s friends and family hit the dance floor all night to the awesome sounds of the Eddie Bruce Band! Our friend Gabe of Phillip Gabriel Photography was there to capture every moment for the bride and groom. Congratulations to Allison and Andy from all of us at Video One!

Ever experienced a Wedding in a car dealership? We did! Christina and Kevin’s Wedding was absolutely fantastic at Keenen Mercedes-Benz in Doylestown. It’s always a wonderful experience to shoot a great wedding in a very unique location. Wendy Donaldson pulled out all the stops to make an already incredible space even more spectacular and Cliff Mautner captured some amazing pictures. The night was topped off with the amazing sounds of JellyRoll, who kept the dance floor packed all night. Christina and Kevin’s wedding was a fun and unique experience that we at VideoOne were honored to film!

This year at the Annual Great Chefs Event, chefs and patrons from around America joined together to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. All funds from the day went towards a great cause- the fight against childhood cancer.
We spent the day capturing (and indulging in!) all the wonderful food,wine,and beer donated by the collection of award-winning chefs, including chef Tom Colicchio. Over 1000 people came out to support the foundation and helped raise more than $500,000! There were some amazing guest speakers, including the creators of the foundation, Alex’s parents.
