Anca & John shared a gorgeous wedding at The Four Seasons Philadelphia. This amazing venue offers a setting to meet every vision. We are always excited to see each couple’s vision come to life.
Anca and John chose the ballroom for their celebration, and it was truly majestic. With decor by Arrangements Unlimited, this view was breathtaking. Anca’s facial expression says it all.
Allure Films was thrilled when they asked us to document their big day. Despite the rain, we captured each beautiful moment as it unfolded. Congratulations, and best wishes Anca and John!
At weddings, often times the smallest details leave the most lasting memories. Allure Films recently had the pleasure of documenting Katelyn and Anthony’s fabulous Crystal Tea Room wedding – and just about every detail was carefully considered!
Along with this blushing bride and dashing groom, this gorgeous location is certainly something to talk about. Time and time again, we are blown away by its beauty and incredible catering professionals.
Everything about Katelyn and Anthony’s big day was spectacular. We are fortunate that we get to document many weddings each year. As we attend each wedding, we always enjoy seeing the unique memories that unfold.
These small moments often represent things that are important to the bride and groom; things that have shaped their journey. Katelyn and Anthony had many unique & beautiful moments for us to document.
They also had extra details to make their day even more special…
Those small details often create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. One of our favorite moments was when Katelyn and Anthony re-created their cake-topper. It is one of those “small” moments that they can treasure forever.
We absolutely adore the small details that unfold during each wedding. It’s a beautiful sight to see the bride and groom interacting and enjoying the day with family, friends, and of course each other.
Please enjoy a short preview from Katelyn and Anthony’s big day!
Deciding whether to see each other before a church wedding is a difficult decision for many couples.
In some traditions, the groom does not see his bride until she walks down the aisle. Many believe that this tradition adds anticipation. However, a few of the advantages of seeing each other before the ceremony are that couples often feel more relaxed and they can take formal photos before tying the knot.
Amanda and Thomas opted for a reveal before their ceremony, and Allure Films was thrilled to document it. They shared a beautiful ceremony at Villanova Chapel and followed with a stunning reception at the Montrose Mansion.
Each wedding is filled with many emotionally charged moments, but the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time is certainly a favorite. The parent reactions during the vows and even the quiet moments where friends and family are reflecting on the commitment of the bride and groom are two more magical moments that make the day magical.
Whether the bride and groom decide to see each other before the big day – like Amanda and Thomas – or whether they choose to wait until the ceremony, it is always an honor to document the beginning of a new chapter. Enjoy a short preview from Amanda and Thomas’s big day below.
A photo is worth a thousand words – precious moments are preserved for years to come.
One of the unique traits we value at Allure Films videos is that you can relive those moments & hear the words. Videos are an amazing way of capturing the entire moment in the exact way that it happened. Every time you play that video, you can be transported back to that very day. You can watch the expressions on faces and hear the words as they were spoken.
In Kara and Samuel’s wedding video, there are so many beautiful moments and touching words from family and friends. Each time they watch their video, they can relive the day just as they did the very first time. Not only will they be able to appreciate all of the kind remarks and speeches, but they’ll be able to cherish their words of commitment.
The Hotel du Pont was the perfect scene for this amazing celebration. With decor by Celebrations Design Group, this location was truly breathtaking. Kara and Samuel made a lovely bride and groom, and we were thrilled to be a part of their big day! BVT Live! – Jellyroll was fabulous, as always. They kept the party going as guests danced the night away. Kara and Samuel, thanks for letting us document your special day. Congratulations and best wishes!
Hotel weddings in Philadelphia have their own unique charm. When everything is at one location, family and friends are often able to gather several times throughout the wedding weekend.
Allure Films was thrilled to be invited to document Morgan & Scott’s recent Philadelphia wedding at The Westin.
When attending hotel weddings, many guests are being treated to a new experience. Out of town guests are able to enjoy the history and magic of the City of Brotherly Love.
Family and friends typically stay in the same hotel and are able to celebrate together all weekend long. From the rehearsal dinner, to the big day, and even for Sunday brunch, the Hotel wedding experience offers plenty of opportunities for wedding festivities.
Documenting Morgan and Scott’s wedding allowed us to partake in all of the weekend wedding magic. We were excited to watch them start their new chapter together as husband and wife. Congratulations, newlyweds!
One important job of those working in the wedding industry is to keep up with the latest (…and ever-changing) trends.
From fashion, to food, and right down to the furniture, it’s always good to know what’s big! We were thrilled to attend AFR’s National Showcase & Networking Tour this year. AFR Event Furnishings has always been on top of the latest furnishing designs.
We all have our own picture of the perfect wedding or event space – AFR truly has the perfect match for every vision. In addition to previewing (and lounging on) the trendy furnishings, this event also was a wonderful way to network with the top Philadelphia wedding & event professionals.
We left feeling inspired and of course feeling a bit more prepared for what’s to come!

We are so fortunate that we get be a part of one of the most magical days in a couple’s life. We were thrilled when Julia & Mike invited us to document their big day! From the heartfelt father-daughter moments before the wedding, and the first reveal, Julia and Mike’s day was filled with love and excitement.
After getting ready, we headed to Hotel du Pont for a gorgeous ceremony. Time and time again this place truly “wows” us with it’s beauty and fabulous professionals. Philadelphia Event Planners did an amazing job in preparing for this special occasion.
Julia, Mike, and their guests had a wonderful time celebrating. Congrats and best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs.!
Planning (or considering) a winter wedding? Get inspired by these winter wedding trends for 2014-2015!
1. All About That Lace
This winter we’re seeing an increase in long sleeve and half sleeve lace wedding dresses. This look is a great twist of classy and chic. Throw in a fur bridal wrap for a look that’s as warm as it is beautiful!
2. Let Them Eat Cake
For many of us, the cake is the second most important part of a wedding (the bride and groom come first, of course)!
Step aside “fancy & elaborate” – it’s time for “rustic” to shine. This year, we’re seeing many simplified and delicious wedding cakes.
These designs incorporate a wintery-nature feel – many include pinecones, leaves, pine, and tree bark. Throw in a silver or gold accent to put a unique spin on things.
3. Going ‘Green’
This winter, expect to see more greenery in bridal floral arrangements. Many winter arrangements will have non-floral components (berries, greenery, branches, jewels, and even silver balls). Ivory and white roses go fabulous with a green accent.
4. Eat, Drink, And Be Merry
Do-it-yourself cookie bars, hot chocolate bars, and fondue bars are going to be big this season. Let’s be honest – who doesn’t love to customize their own treats? With toppings galore, your guests are sure to love any sweet treat that they get to decorate on their own.
Along with the hot cocoa, we’re also seeing an incline in these winter favorites: spiced cider, cranberry champagne, and hot mulled wine. Throw in some classic combos, like a grilled cheese & tomato soup, or cookies & milk, and you’ll certainly have a crowd pleaser!
5. The Finishing Touches
Small intricate details are often the most remembered. Customized signs and décor are a great way to add those personal touches to your big day.
Get your family & friends involved by having them customize ornaments or a quilt with messages for the bride and groom. This will be a fun and interactive way to create a special keepsake for the newlyweds.

Kara and Samuel’s lovely June wedding took place at Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, DE.
This historic and elegant venue was the perfect location for this fabulous celebration. We were thrilled to be invited to document all of the magic as it unfolded. As our lovely bride and groom exchanged smiles, or glanced at each other, we could tell that they were truly meant to be. Celebrations Design Group did a remarkable job with the floral decor, too.
Congratulations to Kara and Samuel, and thanks for allowing us to be a part of your big day!
Once upon a time, the Allure Films team was invited to join a beautiful bride (Jessica) and dashing groom (Glenn) for their enchanting Philadelphia wedding.
This elegant celebration took place just near Philadelphia’s City Hall at Cescaphe’s Vie. Along with some decor by Beautiful Blooms Events, and the lovely Mr. & Mrs., this night was a fairytale come true.
EBE-LA Stars kept the party going all night long as everyone enjoyed great tunes. Our favorite words of the evening: “You guys have your own language and you spoil each other to no ends. Watching the way that you make each other giggle and laugh is something different. You protect each other in a way that is indescribable.”
Congratulations Jessica and Glenn! Thank you for including us in your big day!
