Landmarks & Love At This Crowne Plaza Wedding

Not even the chilly weather could stop Erica and Daniel from shining on their big day!

Allure Films was truly honored to film this happy couple’s special day. With careers as a wedding planner and a DJ, we knew that Erica and Daniel had seen more than their fair share of wedding videographers. The fact that they chose us truly speaks to our reputation, and we take it as a huge compliment!

The pair tied the knot at St. Thomas of Villanova before making their way to the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia. As we journeyed from the ceremony to the reception venue, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop by the historic landmarks that lined our path! Not only did the stunning structures make for some fantastic photo ops for Frank Barbera Photography to capture, but they were the perfect backdrop for filming some of the best memories with the wedding party.

It was clear through their smiles and loving interactions how much these two mean to each other. From the wedding day prep among family and friends, to the “I Do’s”, Erica and Daniel were full of excitement all day long.

The Perfect Pair: Katie & Ryan Combine Vibrant & Chic At Their Union Trust Wedding

Your wedding day is the perfect opportunity to let your personalities shine. Katie and Ryan are such a fun-loving couple, we knew their big day was going to be a blast!

Allure Films was there to capture their breathtaking Union Trust wedding. This brand new venue, located in Philadelphia’s Historic District, is the perfect blend of vibrant and chic – it was such a fitting place to celebrate Katie and Ryan’s big day.

The Allure team was joined by Baiada Photography, whose talented photographers helped document all of the day’s precious moments. After the ceremony, guests arrived at Union Trust ready to party! BVTLive’s very own Big Ric Rising had everyone out on the dance floor. We were impressed by the moves that some of the guests had!

Carl Alan Floral Designs did a fantastic job decorating the venue…they never cease to amaze. Guests were in awe of the setting, which fit perfectly with Union Trust’s beautiful architecture.

Modern Luxury Abounds At Gorgeous Down Town Club Philadelphia Wedding

When asked to describe Jennifer and Michael’s Down Town Club Philadelphia wedding, the first word to come to mind is “jaw-dropping.”

Allure Films was thrilled when the happy couple invited us to document their special day. With stunning views of Independence Mall, the Ben Franklin Bridge, and the Delaware River, we couldn’t wait to get to the Down Town Club and start filming!

The décor in the ballroom was flawless. We loved capturing Jennifer’s astonished look when she walked into the room for the first time and saw her dream wedding brought to life.

The day was made even better when we learned that our good friends at Philip Gabriel Photography would be there photographing the gorgeous wedding! They did an amazing job capturing each moment as it unfolded, right alongside our team.

Watching Dreams Come True At Erica & Steve’s Curtis Center Wedding

Every bride dreams of the dazzling day when she’ll finally get to say “I Do” to the love of her life. Allure Films was able to capture Erica & Steve’s dream come true, when they exchanged vows at The Curtis Center in Philadelphia!

From beginning to end, the entire day was filled with sweet moments. One of our personal favorites was the moment when Steve saw Erica in her wedding dress for the very first time. It was wonderful to see such a beautiful moment unfold. Steve was speechless!

After their first look, Erica and Steve took us on a scenic tour of the city, where we captured plenty of breathtaking footage of the couple. The love and energy that these two share could be felt by everyone who saw them.

When we stepped into The Atrium at Curtis Center for the ceremony, we were completely blown away by the stunning décor by Carl Alan Floral Designs. They always make every last detail amazing, whether big or small. The Curtis Center the perfect venue for this adoring couple.

As always, BVTLive’s very own Jellyroll kept the party going all night. It’s always a pleasure enjoying their musical talent while capturing footage of guests celebrating at wedding receptions. They always find a way to make our job even more enjoyable than it already is (and we didn’t think that was possible!)

We’re In Love With These Gorgeous Spring 2016 Wedding Trends!

Spring wedding season is finally here! We can’t wait to see all of the creative ways that our happy couples make their big day uniquely theirs.

From metallic accents to flowing gowns, Allure Films covers all of our favorites in this must-have guide to spring 2016 wedding trends!

Shine on

This spring, metallic colors are all the rage!

Many couples are incorporating gold (especially rose gold, and quartz gold) into their décor, flowers, and even on their cakes. Silver and copper are also a big trend this spring. These shiny metallics are making everything pop!

Tell Your Story

Increasingly, brides and grooms are incorporating meaningful locations or life events into their big day.

Whether it’s the place they got engaged, or a college they both attended, we’ve seen an increase in wedding themes. For example: A bride and groom that began their love story at Penn State, may opt for blue and white wedding colors. This trend takes guests on a nostalgic journey of where your love story began.

Floral

This spring, expect to see many brides sticking with a classic look with their floral arrangements. Stunning combinations of in-season flowers such as peonies, roses, sweet peas, lilacs, ranunculus, hydrangeas, lilies, and tulips will pop up in abundance this spring.

On the other hand, more and more brides are opting for a more wild, woodland look. This often includes a mix of wildflowers and can include vines or small branches. Although different from the classic spring bouquet, these arrangements are visually interesting to look at.

Gown

This spring, it’s all about layers!

Many of today’s most popular spring wedding dresses incorporate layers, both on the upper and lower portion of the dress. This creates a whole new dimensions to the dress. There is also an increase increase in sheer skirts, which adds layering to the bottom half of the gown. Many brides are still going with a soft look that helps the dress “flow” from top to bottom.

Talk About A Wow Factor! Tying The Knot At Philly Rooftop Venue XIX

The Allure Films team was thrilled to join Carly and Louis for their special day at the Hyatt At The Bellevue! The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of love that could be felt by everyone in attendance.

As the bride and groom got ready to recite their vows, the Allure team captured several heartfelt moments, from the first time Carly’s dad saw his daughter in her wedding dress to Louis’ smile as he read a special card from his future wife.

The Bellevue’s rooftop venue, XIX and the Rose Ballroom, provided a stunning backdrop for the happy couple. Evantine Design did not disappoint with the flawless décor, and CTO Tribeca kept the entire room dancing all night long.

As Allure Films continued to capture breathtaking footage of the night’s festivities, our good friends at Philip Gabriel Photography snapped photo after photo of the bride and groom stealing kisses, guests laughing, and even grandparents joining in for a dance or two!

Welcoming Philadelphia’s Newest Wedding & Event Venue: The Logan

Allure Films is excited that the latest addition to Philadelphia’s beautiful event spaces is finally open!

Taking the place of the Four Seasons Hotel at the corner of 18th and Cherry St., The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia instantly becomes one of the top hotels and event spaces in Center City.

To celebrate its grand opening, The Logan Philadelphia hosted a stunning party, complete with live entertainment, delicious food, stunning décor, and even a photo booth!

Filming Those Unforgettable Moments Before “I Do”

While many people tend to focus on the vows, the ceremony, or the party at the reception, Allure Films’ favorite part of wedding day is capturing the moments before the “I Do’s.”

During our initial meetings with Hallie and Sam, it was clear that they felt the exact same way. They were thrilled to have the Allure team there to film their Hyatt at The Bellevue wedding, and wanted to make sure we would be there extra early to film all of those touching moments leading up to their walk down the aisle.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect when we arrived in Philadelphia on that gorgeous October day. Our crew ventured off to meet up with Hallie and Sam in their rooms as they got ready for the big day.

So many wonderful moments were caught on film that morning. As the beautiful wedding dress hung in the background, we followed the bride and her family around as they helped each other get ready. The way that Hallie’s dad looked on as his daughter’s hair and makeup were done was truly touching.

Our videographers also captured Sam hanging out with his groomsmen, sharing funny stories and laughing at memories captured on their phones as they put on their tuxedoes and fastened their bow ties.

It’s these candid moments, caught on camera by Allure Films, that the bride and groom will cherish forever. They truly make each wedding video unique!

With the entire bridal party dressed to the nines, we ventured down to the ceremony hall. The traditional Jewish ceremony was held under a gorgeous huppah. The floral arrangements, provided by Carl Alan Floral Designs, were out of this world. They truly transformed the ceremony and reception halls into incredibly stunning spaces.

It was truly a pleasure to document Hallie and Sam’s wedding day. We got to be a part of so many unforgettable moments. Congratulations, Hallie and Sam!

Fairy Tales Come True With A Summer Wedding At The Reeds At Shelter Haven

After weeks of frigid weather, it’s nice to escape to warmer days for a minute. And this beautiful summer wedding at The Reeds At Shelter Haven is sure to warm your heart right up!

Jacqueline and Brian’s wedding in Stone Harbor, NJ was practically flawless, with a ceremony by the water that was like something out of a fairy tale.

Allure Films truly enjoyed capturing every last detail, from the beautiful floral designs, to the touching photographs of family members on their wedding days tied to the bride’s bouquet.

Jacqueline and Brian had fun in the sun with all their family and friends all day long. The gentle breeze throughout the day helped keep everyone cool, and made for some breathtaking videography shots!

After their waterside ceremony, guests gathered for an evening of dancing and dining inside The Reeds. This was the perfect location to celebrate such an amazing day! Congrats to our newlyweds!
