Opposites Attract & Make The Perfect Pair At Lindsay & Daniel’s Wedding

The Logan Philadelphia Wedding Video - Lindsay & DanielYou know that old saying, “Opposites attract?” Well that statement definitely holds truth when it comes to describing Lindsay & Daniel. According to Lindsay’s sister Shelby “Lindsay is the small East Coast vegetarian who is the perfect complement to Dan, a tall, blonde-haired, football- and steak-loving Texan.” Clearly, they are a match made in heaven!

After meeting in Seattle six years ago, Lindsay & Daniel headed back East and teamed up with Lauren James Events to plan what was to be an unforgettable wedding held at The Logan in Philadelphia.

The Allure Films crew arrived at the hotel to capture the heartwarming exchange between the bride and groom during their First Look. There’s nothing like documenting a First Look between the bride and groom before their wedding, and thanks to the magic of film, Lindsay & Daniel can press the rewind button on this moment for the rest of their lives. Cliff Mautner Photography was also on hand to get stunning images from the entire day.

It’s always amazing to see everyone come together to transform a hotel ballroom from a space fit for a ceremony to a space fit for a reception. Jamie Rothstein Floral & Event Design were the creative visionaries behind all of the wedding décor elements. We were in awe of the couple’s ivory floral-adorned chuppah.

The reception was a big celebration filled with plenty of great speeches and friends and family dancing to Starlight Music. The dance floor was packed the whole night, and everyone had a blast, including the happy couple.

Mazel Tov Lindsay & Daniel, and here’s to a lifetime of lots of love and happiness!

Sparks Flew & Fires Danced At This Phoenixville Foundry Wedding

Heather-Anne & Jules Phoenixville Foundry wedding videoFor Heather-Anne and Jules’ wedding, the Allure Films crew found ourselves back at the Phoenixville Foundry for an evening of love, laughter and fire dancing. That’s right, fire dancing!

Aside from each other, this bride and groom share a passion for fire dancing. Talk about upping the entertainment ante for your guests! We bet it was the first time many of the couple’s guests got to enjoy such riveting acts at a wedding. It was such a privilege for both our filmmakers and for the photographers from Philip Gabriel Photography to capture these amazing performances.

The wedding began with the couple’s non-clergy ceremony before their friends and family in the venue’s lovely Sculpture Garden. The Foundry’s Sculpture Garden provides a perfect ambiance for an outdoor sunset ceremony. For those who don’t know, a non-clergy wedding is when the bride and groom officiate their own marriage without a third party clergy member. This allowed for the bride and groom’s vows to be truly their own, giving them the chance to reflect on their love and devotion to one another.

We also want to give an honorable mention to the bridal party’s twist on the traditional bouquet. Instead of holding a full floral bouquet, the bride walked down the aisle holding a lantern that lit her way, designed in collaboration with the couple’s floral designer Carl Alan Designs. Truly a unique touch!

At the reception, the dance floor of the Phoenixville Foundry’s Cupola Ballroom was packed thanks to fabulous music by the Silver Sound Entertainment. To close the celebration, Heather-Anne and Jules had surprised their guests with the perfect ending to their big night with a beautiful firework display. This was truly a wedding full of sparks in every sense of the word.

Congratulations Heather-Anne and Jules, and here’s to a lifetime together filled with love and adventure!

Jennifer & Daniel’s Fun-Filled, Romantic Countryside Wedding

If you’re looking for a genuine countryside wedding, then Ironstone Ranch is the perfect place for you! When Jennifer and Daniel ventured outside of the Philadelphia suburbs and found themselves at this gorgeous ranch in Elizabethtown, they knew they had found the venue they had been looking for.

Ironstone Ranch is a working horse ranch situated on 275 acres of stunning land, complete with all the rural charm of rolling green hills, orchards, seasonal flower gardens, restored farmhouses, and live animals roaming the grounds. The couple’s Thursday wedding could not have been held on a more beautiful day, and it certainly was a great kickoff to the weekend!

Jennifer and Daniel both prepared for their ceremony at the ranch’s fully restored 1860’s farmhouse, where the Allure Films crew was able to document heartfelt behind-the-scenes looks. One of the most touching moments was when Jennifer and Daniel had their “first look”…which wasn’t actually a first look at all since they wanted to wait until Jennifer walked down the aisle towards her groom. Instead, they held hands as they hid behind a door, reading sweet cards from each other and exchanging loving words before heading off to their ceremony.

The ranch’s Open Air Mini Barn served as the wedding chapel, a rustic space filled with décor elements and floral arrangements all designed specifically for the couple’s ceremony by the ranch’s in-house designer. The wedding ceremony ended like a fairytale, with the couple being whisked away together on a romantic white horse-drawn carriage for a ride around the acreage. The couple made sure to take stops along the scenic route for photographs taken by Epic Photography.

For the outdoor cocktail hour the adults were able to sip their drinks and play cornhole and horseshoes, while the kids were treated to pony rides and a visit from an adorable donkey named Leroy. After cocktail hour, Jennifer and Daniel met up with their guests in the Ironstone Ranch’s Main Barn for dining on a delicious meal by C&J Catering and dancing to a performance by the incredible Bachelor Boys Band.

Lebanese Traditions Wow The Crowd At Crystal & Daniel’s Wedding

Crystal and Daniel went from high school sweethearts to husband and wife! The bride and groom tied the knot before their friends and family in a lovely ceremony held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of Doylestown, PA. The church was beautifully decorated with elegant violet and purple floral arrangements created by the design team of Eventricity. Aside from the floral arrangements that lined the sides of the church pews, Eventricity also created the showstopping archway the bride walked through on her way down the aisle.

Philip Gabriel Photography and Allure Films were there to not only capture the beautiful décor details, but also all the touching moments from the ceremony and reception. Allure Films had the privilege of covering some special wedding traditions belonging to Crystal’s Lebanese heritage from their reception held at Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center. A great moment for us to capture on film was when the bride and groom participated in a debkeh dance in celebration of the joyous day. The debkeh dance is a traditional Arabic folk dance that is passed down from generation to generation combining circle and line dancing all in one.

Crystal and Daniel, here’s to a lifetime of celebrating each other’s heritage and creating your own special family traditions together!

Lots Of Love & Plenty Of Laughs At Sam & Jill’s Philadelphia Wedding

November 15, 2017 Blog, Jewish, The Logan Hotel

A great marriage is built on love, trust…and in the case of Sam and Jill, knowing when to “give each other Reese’s after a long hard day!”

Philadelphia natives Sam and Jill recently tied the knot at the City of Brotherly Love’s The Logan Hotel. Allure Films had the honor of documenting this joyous occasion for the amazing couple and their family.

Both the wedding ceremony and reception took place in The Logan Hotel’s Grand Ballroom. It was incredible to see how quickly everyone worked together to transform the venue into a space fit for both parts of the wedding within a very short window of time. Allure Films and Baiada Photography were there to capture all the great moments, including Sam and Jill saying “I do.” Philadelphia’s Ten Pennies Florist were responsible for the lovely floral arrangements that lined the aisle.

The bride and groom’s wedding vows were heartfelt and tender, filled with lots of love and plenty of laughter. Just like the happy couple! We love the personal twist that they were able to add to their otherwise traditional Jewish wedding ceremony.

As the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour, the Grand Ballroom was magically transformed into the reception hall. A live band was there to keep guests moving and grooving throughout the night.

Sam and Jill’s wedding reception definitely consisted of a lot of love, laughter and dancing! All night long the dance floor was packed, with Sam and Jill always found at the center of it. At one point Jill even becomes a part of the band! Aside from filming the traditional hora dance, we had the privilege of being able to capture moments from the Mezinke dance: a flower crowning ceremony honoring Sam’s parents for marrying off their last child.

Mazel Tov Sam and Jill, here’s to a lifetime of love, happiness, and plenty of Reese’s together!

Meggie & Gordon Return To Their Hometown To Say “I Do”

We love it when we’re asked to film military weddings!

Recently, Meggie and Gordon – members of the US Navy – returned to Meggie’s hometown to exchange their vows. As members of the US Navy, they had spent plenty of time traveling the world, and were more than happy to finally celebrate their special day with all of their family and friends at home in Malvern.

Allure Films and Campli Photography were there to document the couple’s special day from beginning to end. After Meggie got ready in her childhood home, she walked down the aisle of St. Patrick’s Church. She was married to Gordon in a traditional ceremony, which was just as beautiful as the bride was!

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the stunning Aronimink Golf Club, which was finely decorated with floral arrangements and centerpieces designed by Tish Long. The bride and groom arrived to the party in style, wearing his-and-hers monogrammed loafers as Meggie rocked her US Navy t-shirt with her new last name on the back.

One of the best moments we captured was on the dance floor, when Meggie showed off her dancing skills by doing the classic “worm” in her wedding dress! We also loved the looks on the bride and groom’s faces as they cut their wedding cake with the ceremonial sword, a true military wedding tradition.

Meggie & Gordon, here’s to a beautiful future together as husband and wife!

A Magical Horticulture Center Wedding

October 10, 2017 Blog, Horticulture Center

From the moment Morgan took her first step down the aisle to meet her future husband, Justin, their wedding felt like something out of a storybook.

Philadelphia-based wedding planners Lauren James Events played a huge role in helping the bride and groom’s fairytale wedding dreams come to life. After a classic car ride from her childhood home to Fairmount Park, Morgan met Justin under a stunning wrought-iron archway wrapped in flowers and vines. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows to one another in front of their friends and family in the midst of the majestic and whimsical gardens of the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.

After the ceremony, the princess bride and her prince were taken away on a horse-drawn carriage to join their loved ones for a magical evening of celebration. Their reception was held underneath a tent on the Horticulture Center property, filled with violet- and lavender-colored florals designed from the vision of Petah Bashano Event Design.

Not only were the decorations stunning, but one decoration in particular was looking especially delicious! The Donut Tree (yes, you read that right!) was definitely a hot spot for photos and satisfying your sweet tooth after the main course. Philip Gabriel Photography captured several great shots around The Donut Tree, as well as countless beautiful moments throughout the evening.

When the wedding party and guests weren’t chatting and reminiscing about stories of the bride and groom, they were dancing the night away to the sensational musical performance by The Vincent James Band.

Fireworks capped off the magical evening, and Morgan and Justin were caught stealing more than one kiss in the middle of the show! Congratulations to the happy couple, and best wishes for a life of happiness together!
