You could say our Allure Films crew was blinded by science and love on Nikki & Jordan’s wedding day. Not everyone gets to marry the love of their life under a sky full of stars and a full moon, but at the Franklin Institute, anything is possible!
It was quite the experience for our team to document the couple’s wedding ceremony in the Franklin Institute’s Fels Planetarium. This particular ceremony was unique in many ways other than the awe-inspiring location. The bride and groom’s sweet vows to each other incorporated their Jewish and Gaelic heritages, and it was clear that they were truly written from the heart.
The ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour in the museum’s Electricity exhibit, where wedding guests noshed on incredible bites catered by Frog Commissary. This cocktail hour was an equally “electrifying” experience for our filmmakers and the guests – friends and family watched in amazement as they literally lit up the sustainable dance floor with their moves!
This is one of the things that we love the most about one-of-a-kind venues like the Franklin Institute. We’re big fans of spaces that engage guests, allowing them to feel like they are a part of the big day in more ways than as just a spectator. At the Franklin Institute, Nikki and Jordan’s friends and family were able to participate in activities that were fun, educational, and exciting as they wandered the halls during cocktail hour.
Carl Alan Floral Design was behind all of the stunning floral arrangements, from the bride’s bouquet, to the table centerpieces and more! For the reception, we joined the guests in Ben Franklin Memorial room, where the infamous Founding Father himself looked on as everyone danced the night away in celebration thanks to great sound provided by Synergetic Sound.
Congratulations Nikki & Jordan, and best wishes for a fun-filled future together!
If you’re looking for a genuine countryside wedding, then Ironstone Ranch is the perfect place for you! When Jennifer and Daniel ventured outside of the Philadelphia suburbs and found themselves at this gorgeous ranch in Elizabethtown, they knew they had found the venue they had been looking for.
Ironstone Ranch is a working horse ranch situated on 275 acres of stunning land, complete with all the rural charm of rolling green hills, orchards, seasonal flower gardens, restored farmhouses, and live animals roaming the grounds. The couple’s Thursday wedding could not have been held on a more beautiful day, and it certainly was a great kickoff to the weekend!
Jennifer and Daniel both prepared for their ceremony at the ranch’s fully restored 1860’s farmhouse, where the Allure Films crew was able to document heartfelt behind-the-scenes looks. One of the most touching moments was when Jennifer and Daniel had their “first look”…which wasn’t actually a first look at all since they wanted to wait until Jennifer walked down the aisle towards her groom. Instead, they held hands as they hid behind a door, reading sweet cards from each other and exchanging loving words before heading off to their ceremony.
The ranch’s Open Air Mini Barn served as the wedding chapel, a rustic space filled with décor elements and floral arrangements all designed specifically for the couple’s ceremony by the ranch’s in-house designer. The wedding ceremony ended like a fairytale, with the couple being whisked away together on a romantic white horse-drawn carriage for a ride around the acreage. The couple made sure to take stops along the scenic route for photographs taken by Epic Photography.
For the outdoor cocktail hour the adults were able to sip their drinks and play cornhole and horseshoes, while the kids were treated to pony rides and a visit from an adorable donkey named Leroy. After cocktail hour, Jennifer and Daniel met up with their guests in the Ironstone Ranch’s Main Barn for dining on a delicious meal by C&J Catering and dancing to a performance by the incredible Bachelor Boys Band.

Mazel Tov Jennifer & Daniel, and here’s to a lifetime together filled with a whole lotta love n’ fun!
Accomplished journalists Laura and Greg just finished an important chapter in their never-ending fairytale: their wedding day!
Laura and Greg recently tied the knot at the renowned Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Center City Philadelphia. Both the ceremony and reception were held within the performance venue’s Hamilton Rooftop Garden.
The Hamilton Rooftop Garden is a beautiful atrium oasis that offers incredible views of the Philadelphia skyline. Petals Lane created a wonderful environment with design elements such as the beautiful chuppah, romantic candle lanterns lining the aisle, and stunning floral arrangements at the reception.
Photographer Susan Stripling was there to capture all the great moments alongside the talented videographers of Allure Films. After the couple said “I do”, the evening consisted of touching speeches from family members as guests dined on a wonderful culinary treat from the amazing chefs at Garces Events.
After dinner, everyone danced to an incredible set performed by the American Deluxe Band, while the beautiful stars shined on them through the Kimmel Center’s soaring glass ceiling.
Enjoy this sneak preview of Laura and Greg’s Kimmel Center wedding video, which captures some of the highlights of their perfect first day as husband and wife:
Congratulations Laura and Greg, and may you both live happily ever after!
The City of Brotherly Love felt like the Big Easy on Theresa & Bret’s wedding day!
Theresa & Bret were married in a beautiful ceremony held at the Liberty View Ballroom of Philadelphia’s Independence Visitor Center. Although the couple currently reside in the Greater Philadelphia area, it was important to the couple that they incorporate the wedding traditions from Bret’s hometown of New Orleans into their special day. The team from Allure Films was happy to capture every last detail on film.
The Independence National Historical Park felt like the French Quarter when Theresa & Ben twirled their parasols in the air, leading a “Second Line parade” to the Ballroom at the Ben after exchanging their vows. A Second Line parade is a New Orleans wedding custom: traditionally, the “first line” consists of the wedding party and a brass band, while the rest of the wedding guests create a “second line” of revelers whipping their handkerchiefs in celebration. Not only was this a sight to see, but the band was fantastic!
Just like the first half of Theresa & Bret’s wedding, the reception at the Ballroom at the Ben was nothing short of sensational. The ballroom was completely adorned in gorgeous floral arrangements and table centerpieces by the talented artists of Lamsback Floral Decorators. Guests were served cocktails, appetizers, and a delicious main course prepared by the awesome culinary team at Finley Catering. After the couple’s first dance, the dance floor was filled with everyone moving to the tunes of yesterday and today performed by EBE’s Milan 77.
Congratulations Theresa & Bret. As they say in N’awlins “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!” Translation: Let the good times roll!
The Allure Films team had a blast being a part of Ali and Matt’s Greek wedding in Philadelphia! This fun couple and beautiful venue made the day unforgettable.
It was clear that our bride, groom, and all of their guests were having an amazing time celebrating! It was a pleasure capturing some special moments between our bride and groom in the City of Brotherly Love. We know that all of these special moments (big & small) add up to build amazing memories.
After a rehearsal dinner at Estia, a popular Greek restaurant in the heart of Center City, Ali and Matt tied the knot at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church. This was followed up with an amazing reception at Front & Palmer, named one of America’s top 45 wedding venues by Brides.com. This unique and modern venue sure has a lot to offer!
After a few heartfelt words for the newlyweds, guests enjoyed a memorable evening of delectable food, dancing, and of course, lots of cake! Who doesn’t love cake?
Enjoy a short preview of Ali & Matt’s wedding day below.
After nearly a decade together, Stacey and Seth decided to seal the deal in the city where it all began.
The couple met while attending college at Drexel University. It only made sense that they’d exchange their vows in the heart of Philadelphia!
They selected Vie, a stunning venue on Philadelphia’s iconic Broad Street. No detail was overlooked – from the floral arrangements that matched the bridal party bouquets to the flawless cake decorated in Philly and Drexel designs. Even the gorgeous latticed walls reflected the couple’s unique and fun-loving nature.
Vie is one of Cescaphe’s elegant Philadelphia venues. It was inspired by French Provençal design in every way. It includes a stunning Italian mosaic, custom lighting and staging, and a spacious setting to celebrate with all of your guests. With the talented hands at Beautiful Blooms, Stacey and Seth had the perfect backdrop to an even more perfect wedding ceremony and reception.
We wish all the best to Stacey and Seth as they embark on their new journey as husband and wife. Congratulations and thank you for allowing Allure Films to be a part of such a special day!
This was Allure Films’ first time filming a Jasna Polana wedding. We heard so much about this fabulous venue and we’ve got to admit that it lived up to the hype!
Jenna and Dan shared a beautiful fall ceremony at Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ. There were plenty of stunning views both inside and out. From their first look to their wedding vows, this whole day was filled with heartfelt moments and plenty of love.
After an outdoor ceremony on this fabulous fall day, the celebration continued in the circular Travertine Room. From there, Jenna and Dan’s guests took in the luxurious space and panoramic views of the estate.
Family and friends enjoyed an elegant evening of dining and dancing, as they celebrated Jenna and Dan tying the knot! The Allure team was thrilled to document such a great wedding. We wish all the best to Jenna and Dan!
Have you ever taken a look at a wedding at Union Trust in Philadelphia? Well, here’s your chance!
Join Allure Films as we look back on Rachel and Sam’s perfect wedding day, held at Union Trust in the heart of Philadelphia.
With sky-high, illuminated ceilings, accented walls, and a balcony with a breathtaking view, this venue is sure to capture your heart. It certainly captured those of the guests at Rachel and Sam’s big day!
Rachel and Sam’s first reveal was such a great moment to be a part of. It’s always so emotional when the groom gets to see his bride in her dress for the very first time. That time together before saying “I do” is truly something special to be a part of.
Union Trust, operated by Finley Catering, is a venue that can be used for every aspect of your wedding. Watch as Allure Films captures Finley Catering’s flawless transformation of the ceremony space into an expansive reception hall, complete with a dance floor that remained packed all night long!
Congratulations to our newlyweds and thank you for letting the Allure team document your big day!
If you’re looking for a jaw-dropping location to host your dream wedding, look no further than Moulin at Sherman Mills!
This venue by Brûlée Catering was the perfect place for Laura and Alec’s June wedding. Nestled in East Falls just a stone’s throw away from Center City Philadelphia, had everything the bride and groom could have hoped for, and more!
After capturing some very touching footage of their “first look” in the heart of the city, Allure Films traveled with the couple to Sherman Mills, where Evantine Design had draped Moulin’s towering ceilings in hanging greenery and perfect summer colors. Laura and Alec exchanged vows under a chuppah that appeared to be raining flowers on the couple. How romantic!
The new Mr. and Mrs. led their guests into the reception hall, where they dined on Brûlée Catering’s award-winning fare and danced the night away to live music by Simply Irresistible.
We enjoyed documenting loving moments between Laura and Alec around some of Philadelphia’s hot spots. The historic locations all throughout Philadelphia are definitely an advantage of a city venue. Moulin is definitely a unique venue that will provide a wow factor that just can’t be found anywhere else!
Take a look at this sneak peek video, and start taking notes for your wedding day décor!
We can’t remember the last time we laughed so much at a wedding!
Kim and Mitch are a fun-loving couple who had their wedding at an equally fun location: the Please Touch Museum.
This unique venue is the perfect place for couples who want to step away from the traditional wedding venue and add a bit of originality to their big day. Its soaring ceilings and breathtaking carousel add just the right amount of romance to the venue, while surprising structures like the artistic replica of the Statue of Liberty’s torch provide guests with plenty of exciting adventures.
From the soft pink magnolia trees to a Center City dumpster (we’re not kidding…check out the video!), Kim and Mitch definitely kept things exciting for their wedding party and the Allure Films team! All of the smiles and laughter were punctuated with plenty of sweet kisses and a tear or two as they exchanged their vows.
All in all, it was a fantastic wedding to be a part of. Congrats Kim and Mitch, and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
