Bellevue Hall Wedding

May 31, 2022 Bellevue Hall

Bellevue Hall Wedding Videographer, Allure Films

Ellen and Matt celebrated a beautiful wedding day at Jeffrey Miller Catering’s Bellevue Hall. During a pleasant July day, the two married outside Bellevue Hall in the grass.

Getting Ready

Getting Ready Bellevue Hall Allure FilmsBefore everything unfolded, we captured some shots of Ellen and her bridal party preparing for the big day. However, there were many more little guests involved in this big day! Ellen’s bridesmaids, and nieces, joined her in preparation. Everyone involved donned a matching floral robe to begin the celebration. With the help of her bridesmaids, the finishing touches were finally in place, and Ellen was ready to go see Matt.

First Look

First Look Allure Films Bellevue HallEllen descended the stairs in her gown and waited for her soon-to-be husband. After his own preparation, Matt made his way to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day. Before he even reached her, Matt was already grinning widely. The two shared a heartfelt greeting while Matt exclaimed, “You look amazing!” and “You look beautiful!” They shared some laughs and a few twirls together before getting ready to meet their guests. After some private time together, Ellen and Matt made their way outside for the ceremony.

A Ceremony in the Grass

Bellevue Hall Outdoor CeremonyOutside Bellevue Hall, the greenery and neatly kept grounds made the perfect backdrop for this wedding ceremony. With white chairs lined in the grass, florals arranged, and guests ready, their ceremony began. Ellen’s father walked her down the outdoor aisle to meet Matt at the altar. After exchanging vows, Ellen and Matt were announced husband and wife. Their guests cheered as the two made their way back up the aisle and to their reception.

Reception outside Bellevue Hall

Ellen and Matt continued their festivities outside Bellevue Hall in a tented area. The tent was beautifully decorated with string lights and more greenery. Their tables were accented in light blue and grey, giving it a peaceful and airy set up. With a burst of energy and cheer, Ellen and Matt made a grand entrance into the reception. The two skipped and danced their way to the center for their first dance. Though their entrance was fun and exciting, their first dance slowed down into a romantic moment for the two. Surrounded by family and friends, the newlyweds began their journey together as husband and wife.

Speeches

First Dance Bellevue Hall Wedding

As the reception continued, the guests made speeches about Ellen and Matt’s relationship. One theme rang through particularly: they compliment each other. Ellen’s father spoke earnestly, “Matt loves Ellen. he listen to her, he understands her. If you ever watch their give and take, it’s very interesting, but what you see is a mutual respect for each other that will make a lasting relationship.”

In another speech, they were told that they were fan favorites with all of the nieces and nephews, which was evident throughout the day. All of the children were involved and had a wonderful time throughout the wedding day. There were even outdoor games, like badminton and corn hole, for both the kids and the adults to enjoy. While Ellen and Matt are already parents to a few dogs, they are also expecting a baby to extend their family even more!

We had a wonderful time capturing Ellen and Matthew’s wedding day at Bellevue Hall. We wish you two all the best on all of your future adventures, and with your growing family. Congratulations again!

Videography: Why It Should Be In Your Wedding Budget

May 31, 2022 Blog

Time and time again, couples ask an important question when planning their wedding: “Is wedding videography worth it?

The question is often asked once the wedding photographer is chosen. Why not get the best of both worlds with a photographer and videographer?

Remember, photographers aim to capture the essence of each special moment through a series of photos, while videographers focus on documenting your wedding story in its natural flow.

Here are three great factors to consider when deciding whether wedding videography is worth it:

Hear Everything

The biggest difference between the two is that your wedding video will offer some of the actual audio from your big day.

You will be able to hear the moment you said “I do”, the heartfelt speeches from close family and friends, and the special moments in between. As you celebrate each anniversary, you’ll be able to relive the day exactly as it unfolded. You’ll be able to hear your father’s words, and see his expressions.

Capture All The Moments

Looking to capture all of those amazing wedding moments? You won’t miss a minute with effective videography.

Aside from the big memories, you’ll also have the in-between moments on film – the groom’s emotions before the first look, your grandmother dancing at your reception, your flower girl walking down the aisle, and more.

Take It Anywhere

Once documented, your love story can go anywhere with you – and can be shared for many years to come.

If you’re really stuck on whether wedding videography should be a part of your budget, think about other items that are only temporary, like flowers, food, and even the dress.

Now, consider the value of a video that will last a lifetime. Think it’s worth it?

You’ll Fall In Love With This Stunning Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding

A Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding Story

Brittany and David’s Rittenhouse Hotel wedding was a day filled with love, laughter and plenty of Penn Pride!

As young college freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, Brittany and David were introduced to an education and a love they would share with one another for an eternity beyond those next four years. Since the city of Philadelphia is where these two college sweethearts first met, it was only fitting that Brittany and David came back from NYC to tie the knot at the city’s celebrated and historic Rittenhouse Hotel.

Allure Films and Cliff Mautner Photography were at Brittany and David’s wedding to photograph and film beautiful moments between the couple and their wedding party inside the hotel, as well as outside against the picturesque backdrop of Rittenhouse Square Park. Both the ceremony and reception took place in the hotel’s ballroom, which was magically transformed while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Philadelphia’s Evantine Design team were behind all of the spectacular floral arrangements, including the gorgeous hanging floral display that served as the couple’s chuppah.

After the beautiful ceremony, everyone let loose on the dance floor and hammed it up for the photobooth station, which provided tons of fun props and buttons with sayings such as “PENN IS MY HAPPY PLACE.” When the guests were wiped out from taking photos and dancing, they were sure to stop by the bagel wall! David’s company, Schmear It, provided a wide variety of bagels and “Schmear” to satisfy the guests’ biggest cravings.

A Colorful Wedding at Cescaphe’s Tendenza

July 23, 2019 Blog, Wedding Films

tendenzaSometimes it is so easy to tell when a couple belongs together. Hope and Harry have a spark between them that anyone around can sense. On their wedding day at Cescaphe’s Tendenza, they could not hold back their excitement. During their first look, Hope was so excited to see her soon-to-be husband that she did a dance when she turned around. In response, Harry beamed at her and told her how beautiful she looked.

The two shared a very colorful wedding day. From multicolored bridesmaids dresses to a colorful array of flowers, the event was filled with brightness. Cescaphe’s Tendenza gave Hope and Harry the perfect venue for such an exhilarating day. The eclectic style makes a dazzling and unique wedding space. Along with the beautiful venue, EBE Talent’s band London Bridge entertained and kept guests on the dance floor.

Weddings like these make what we do so worthwhile. Our Allure Films team is so happy to have been a part of such a fun-filled day and capture so many memories. We were also lucky to work alongside our talented friends from Philip Gabriel Photography who took great photos of the day.

Hope’s father said it best, “the way they look at each other is just amazing.” Mazel Tov Hope and Harry! We hope you have many more exciting days together.

A Wedding At The Union League – Four Years In The Making

April 16, 2018 Blog, The Union League

Meagan & Michael's Wedding at the Union LeagueAfter being together for “four years, nine weeks, three days and 19 hours,” Meagan & Michael finally tied the knot before friends and family at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Our filmmakers were there from the beginning to document the preparation before the ceremony, and the stunning footage kept rolling all the way to the end of the reception. Our friends at Philip Gabriel Photography were there to get great shots of Meagan & Michael in front of City Hall and the Art Museum, along with indoor shots of the couple in the Union League’s Four-Diamond hotel The Inn.

Michael’s son stood by his side serving as his father’s best man, while Meagan’s sister served as her Maid-of-Honor and walked her down the aisle. At the end of the night, Meagan & Michael – who are known as “M&M” – cut into an adorable wedding cake featuring a bride and groom M&M cartoon candy wedding topper. The newlyweds loved it just as much as their guests did!

Congratulations Meagan & Michael, and may all your days, weeks, months and years together be filled with a tremendous amount of love! Thank you for allowing the Allure Films team to capture your stunning wedding at the Union League!

Love Fills The Air – Both Indoors And Out – At Meghan & Alexander’s Wedding

February 13, 2018 Christian, Overbrook Country Club

As Meghan and Alexander finished up their final undergraduate semester at the University of Notre Dame, little did they know they were about to earn a degree…and a partner for life! Meghan and Alex were married in a Catholic ceremony surrounded by their friends and family at Our Mother of Good Counsel.

Allure Films began our day of filming this joyous occasion with the bridal party prep. When Meghan had to make the decision about who she would ask to be her matron-of-honor, the answer was clearly a no-brainer: it would be both of her sisters, Mary Lauren and Katie.

Do these ladies look familiar? That’s because Allure Films had the honor of filming Mary Lauren and her husband Derek’s wedding a few short months ago!

Now, on Meghan and Alex’s big day, we followed the couple from there ceremony to a reception at the Overbrook Golf Club, where it is always great to work with Jimmy and his amazing team. No Overbrook Golf Club wedding is complete without the bride and groom getting outdoor photographs together. M2 Photography took beautiful photographs of the happy newlyweds on the club’s beautiful landscape.

The reception was a fun time filled with speeches made by the bride and groom’s immediate family members along with dancing to BVT Live’s incredible Big Ric Rising Band. Alexander and his groomsmen even treated the guests with a song performance!

Congratulations Meghan and Alexander! May your joining together bring you more joy than you can imagine!

Going For Gold At Michal & Daniel’s Springfield Country Club Wedding

February 12, 2018 Jewish, Wedding Films

Michal did not have to compete in the Olympics to get her gold; she met the love of her life – Daniel Gold – during their first semester at Temple University! These two finally made it official and tied the knot at the Springfield Country Club surrounded by friends and family, in a ceremony that far outshone anything you’ll see on an Olympic podium.

Aside from wearing her own engagement ring, Michal also wore two other rings in honor of some very important women in her family: her Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Michal wore her Grandmother’s wedding ring, along with a ring her Great-Grandmother was able to remarkably hide during the Holocaust at Auschwitz. This incredible piece of history has been kept within the family for decades, and Michal felt honored to wear it at her own wedding ceremony.

Both the ceremony and reception were held within the venue’s Grand Ballroom. Philip Gabriel Photography took many romantic outdoor shots of just the couple surrounded by the country club’s lovely outdoor landscape. Evantine Design created the backdrop for the ceremony and reception with different floral arrangements and elegant candle décor. The reception was truly a celebration consisting of a great meal and a night of dancing to live music performed by EBE Paris.

Enjoy this sneak peek at Michal & Daniel’s Springfield Country Club wedding video:

Mazel Tov Michal and Daniel! May the love and happiness you feel today shine throughout the years!

Happily Ever After At The Westin Hotel In Philadelphia

Feelings of love and celebration filled the air of the Westin Hotel Philadelphia on Carly and Jeremy’s wedding day. One of the unique factors about their wedding was that the wedding prep, ceremony and reception all took place inside the hotel. Talk about convenience for both the wedding party and their guests!

Photographer Ron Soliman was there to capture amazing shots from both inside and outside of the hotel, including scenic shots from the couple’s “First Look.” One of the most touching moments for the team from Allure Films to document that day was the ceremony, especially when the bride walked down the aisle and was given away by her mother and father to the Beatles classic, “Here Comes The Sun.”

As soon as Jeremy smashed the glass at the end of the ceremony, it was time to party! In addition to creating the breathtaking chuppah, Carl Alan Floral Designs also helped transform the hotel’s Grand Ballroom to a space fit for a dream reception, including submerged floral and candle centerpieces at every table. After a delicious meal, the guests were dancing all night to great music by EBE’s LA Starz.

For a sneak peek at all of the fun, take a look at this sample of Carly and Jeremy’s Westin Philadelphia Wedding video:

Jennifer & Daniel’s Fun-Filled, Romantic Countryside Wedding

If you’re looking for a genuine countryside wedding, then Ironstone Ranch is the perfect place for you! When Jennifer and Daniel ventured outside of the Philadelphia suburbs and found themselves at this gorgeous ranch in Elizabethtown, they knew they had found the venue they had been looking for.

Ironstone Ranch is a working horse ranch situated on 275 acres of stunning land, complete with all the rural charm of rolling green hills, orchards, seasonal flower gardens, restored farmhouses, and live animals roaming the grounds. The couple’s Thursday wedding could not have been held on a more beautiful day, and it certainly was a great kickoff to the weekend!

Jennifer and Daniel both prepared for their ceremony at the ranch’s fully restored 1860’s farmhouse, where the Allure Films crew was able to document heartfelt behind-the-scenes looks. One of the most touching moments was when Jennifer and Daniel had their “first look”…which wasn’t actually a first look at all since they wanted to wait until Jennifer walked down the aisle towards her groom. Instead, they held hands as they hid behind a door, reading sweet cards from each other and exchanging loving words before heading off to their ceremony.

The ranch’s Open Air Mini Barn served as the wedding chapel, a rustic space filled with décor elements and floral arrangements all designed specifically for the couple’s ceremony by the ranch’s in-house designer. The wedding ceremony ended like a fairytale, with the couple being whisked away together on a romantic white horse-drawn carriage for a ride around the acreage. The couple made sure to take stops along the scenic route for photographs taken by Epic Photography.

For the outdoor cocktail hour the adults were able to sip their drinks and play cornhole and horseshoes, while the kids were treated to pony rides and a visit from an adorable donkey named Leroy. After cocktail hour, Jennifer and Daniel met up with their guests in the Ironstone Ranch’s Main Barn for dining on a delicious meal by C&J Catering and dancing to a performance by the incredible Bachelor Boys Band.

Philly Flavor With A Touch Of New Orleans Tradition At The Independence Visitor Center

The City of Brotherly Love felt like the Big Easy on Theresa & Bret’s wedding day!

Theresa & Bret were married in a beautiful ceremony held at the Liberty View Ballroom of Philadelphia’s Independence Visitor Center. Although the couple currently reside in the Greater Philadelphia area, it was important to the couple that they incorporate the wedding traditions from Bret’s hometown of New Orleans into their special day. The team from Allure Films was happy to capture every last detail on film.

The Independence National Historical Park felt like the French Quarter when Theresa & Ben twirled their parasols in the air, leading a “Second Line parade” to the Ballroom at the Ben after exchanging their vows. A Second Line parade is a New Orleans wedding custom: traditionally, the “first line” consists of the wedding party and a brass band, while the rest of the wedding guests  create a “second line” of revelers whipping their handkerchiefs in celebration. Not only was this a sight to see, but the band was fantastic!

Just like the first half of Theresa & Bret’s wedding, the reception at the Ballroom at the Ben was nothing short of sensational. The ballroom was completely adorned in gorgeous floral arrangements and table centerpieces by the talented artists of Lamsback Floral Decorators. Guests were served cocktails, appetizers, and a delicious main course prepared by the awesome culinary team at Finley Catering. After the couple’s first dance, the dance floor was filled with everyone moving to the tunes of yesterday and today performed by EBE’s Milan 77.

Congratulations Theresa & Bret. As they say in N’awlins “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!” Translation: Let the good times roll!
