Ellen and Matt celebrated a beautiful wedding day at Jeffrey Miller Catering’s Bellevue Hall. During a pleasant July day, the two married outside Bellevue Hall in the grass.

Getting Ready

Before everything unfolded, we captured some shots of Ellen and her bridal party preparing for the big day. However, there were many more little guests involved in this big day! Ellen’s bridesmaids, and nieces, joined her in preparation. Everyone involved donned a matching floral robe to begin the celebration. With the help of her bridesmaids, the finishing touches were finally in place, and Ellen was ready to go see Matt.

First Look

Ellen descended the stairs in her gown and waited for her soon-to-be husband. After his own preparation, Matt made his way to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day. Before he even reached her, Matt was already grinning widely. The two shared a heartfelt greeting while Matt exclaimed, “You look amazing!” and “You look beautiful!” They shared some laughs and a few twirls together before getting ready to meet their guests. After some private time together, Ellen and Matt made their way outside for the ceremony.

A Ceremony in the Grass

Outside Bellevue Hall, the greenery and neatly kept grounds made the perfect backdrop for this wedding ceremony. With white chairs lined in the grass, florals arranged, and guests ready, their ceremony began. Ellen’s father walked her down the outdoor aisle to meet Matt at the altar. After exchanging vows, Ellen and Matt were announced husband and wife. Their guests cheered as the two made their way back up the aisle and to their reception.

Reception outside Bellevue Hall 

Ellen and Matt continued their festivities outside Bellevue Hall in a tented area. The tent was beautifully decorated with string lights and more greenery. Their tables were accented in light blue and grey, giving it a peaceful and airy set up. With a burst of energy and cheer, Ellen and Matt made a grand entrance into the reception. The two skipped and danced their way to the center for their first dance. Though their entrance was fun and exciting, their first dance slowed down into a romantic moment for the two. Surrounded by family and friends, the newlyweds began their journey together as husband and wife.

Speeches 

As the reception continued, the guests made speeches about Ellen and Matt’s relationship. One theme rang through particularly: they compliment each other. Ellen’s father spoke earnestly, “Matt loves Ellen. he listen to her, he understands her. If you ever watch their give and take, it’s very interesting, but what you see is a mutual respect for each other that will make a lasting relationship.”

In another speech, they were told that they were fan favorites with all of the nieces and nephews, which was evident throughout the day. All of the children were involved and had a wonderful time throughout the wedding day. There were even outdoor games, like badminton and corn hole, for both the kids and the adults to enjoy. While Ellen and Matt are already parents to a few dogs, they are also expecting a baby to extend their family even more!

You’ll Fall In Love With This Stunning Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding

A Rittenhouse Hotel Wedding Story

Brittany and David’s Rittenhouse Hotel wedding was a day filled with love, laughter and plenty of Penn Pride!

As young college freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, Brittany and David were introduced to an education and a love they would share with one another for an eternity beyond those next four years. Since the city of Philadelphia is where these two college sweethearts first met, it was only fitting that Brittany and David came back from NYC to tie the knot at the city’s celebrated and historic Rittenhouse Hotel.

Allure Films and Cliff Mautner Photography were at Brittany and David’s wedding to photograph and film beautiful moments between the couple and their wedding party inside the hotel, as well as outside against the picturesque backdrop of Rittenhouse Square Park. Both the ceremony and reception took place in the hotel’s ballroom, which was magically transformed while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Philadelphia’s Evantine Design team were behind all of the spectacular floral arrangements, including the gorgeous hanging floral display that served as the couple’s chuppah.

After the beautiful ceremony, everyone let loose on the dance floor and hammed it up for the photobooth station, which provided tons of fun props and buttons with sayings such as “PENN IS MY HAPPY PLACE.” When the guests were wiped out from taking photos and dancing, they were sure to stop by the bagel wall! David’s company, Schmear It, provided a wide variety of bagels and “Schmear” to satisfy the guests’ biggest cravings.

Just seconds away from City Hall, The Ritz is a celebrated and newly renovated hotel with amazing vistas and beautiful architecture that makes for great backdrops for wedding day photographs.

Allure Films was there to record every breathtaking moment during Hillary and Andy’s wedding day. The creative visionaries of the Evantine Design team were responsible for transforming the Grand Ballroom from an intimate and romantic ceremony venue to a beautiful dining and dancing space in an instant.

Imagine the guests’ surprise when they stepped out of the Grand Ballroom for cocktail hour, only to be led right back into the same room for the reception which now looked completely different! We loved catching their faces on film as their jaws dropped in amazement.

EBE’s Dreamtime took charge of packing the dance floor with the guests and wedding party, including the adorable flower girls and ring bearers. In addition to the celebrated first dance and hora, Allure Films was able to document the traditional Mezinke dance, the crowning ceremony honoring the bride’s parents for marrying off their last child.

Harlee and Ryan’s Hotel Monaco Wedding

While weddings are about joining a couple as one, they are also about joining two families together. Harlee and Ryan had an elegant ceremony at the Hotel Monaco and celebrated with family and friends at their reception at the Cescaphe Ballroom.

At the hotel, the couple exchanged vows in one of the Hotel Monaco’s beautiful ballrooms. With the elegant chandeliers and architecture, it is a wonderful place for a wedding.

After filming the wedding, our crew at Allure Films captured speeches from the bride’s father and brother during the reception. Her brother knew Ryan was right for Harlee when Ryan became her number one protector over him. Though it was a hard role to pass on, her brother knew Ryan was the right one for it.

During Harlee’s father’s speech, he toasted to the foundations of marriage: family, friends, fortune, and fertility. Not only were the two families combined that day, but they wanted to grow as well.

We are always grateful to work a wedding with our partners. Our partners at Baida Photography helped photograph the happy couple’s big day. EBE’s Dreamtime also entertained the crowd and had the newly joined families dancing through the night. We were all grateful to help the newlyweds celebrate their special day.

Vito and Bill’s Beachside Wedding

While capturing weddings is always special, it is even more of a privilege to get to work for friends in the business. As one of our spectacular partners, we were touched when Vito asked our crew to document his wedding. Luckily for us, it was easy to capture the fun and love in the air at their Hard Rock Riviera Maya wedding.

Nothing would capture Vito and Bill’s personalities quite like an over the top beachside wedding. Complete with a glowing dance floor and giant “V” and “B” lit up letters, the wedding turned into quite the party. Hard Rock Riviera Maya gave the couple the perfect space for their dream wedding. As the day turned into night, the newlyweds joyfully celebrated with family and friends.

Our crew at Allure Films filmed the day for our friends’ beachside wedding. Vito and Bill also asked our partners at Pictures by Todd to photograph their big day. They captured beautiful and breezy photos of our happy couple enjoying their day in the sun.

The two truly do fit perfectly, like Legos, as they both joked about in their vows. While we have known Vito and Bill over the last few years, their friends statements truly showcased the love between them. We are honored to capture their wedding and get to see our friends start the beginning of their life as a married couple.

Dance the Night Away at Lauren and Mitchell’s Wedding

Celebrating just north of Philadelphia at the Golden Gates Restaurant, Lauren and Mitchell’s wedding showcased a perfect mix of elegant and show stopping. Always masters of creation, Evantine Design created a glamorous scene that transferred from service to reception. With the white of the flowers and Lauren’s dress, the the decorations seem to glow in the lights of the reception.

Even with all of the exciting effects, nothing outshone the bride and groom’s romantic sparks. Friends and family gave speeches and kind words about the couple’s connection and their newly joined families. During a toast, Lauren’s best friend gives a touching sentiment about how Mitchell looks at Lauren like “she is the most beautiful woman in the world.”

The always exemplary crew from Philip Gabriel Photography captured this sentiment with some beautiful moments in front of Philadelphia’s City Hall. Our partners always do a phenomenal job photographing the love between couples, an they surely did for Lauren and Mitchell. While our partners photographed the wedding, the Allure Films team captured the rest of the day on video for even more memories.

After cutting the cake, the newlyweds and guests danced the night away thanks to Golden Gates’ band and dance floor. Our crew couldn’t have been luckier to capture this couple’s spark.

Michelle And Evan’s Storybook Wedding

Nothing beats a classic, romantic love story. From the charming wedding ceremony to a glamorous reception at The Bellevue in Center City Philadelphia, Michelle and Evan’s wedding perfectly encapsulated their story.

Michelle didn’t realize their first movie together was a date, but Evan used his charm from day one to woo his bride-to-be. The spontaneous dates and immediate spark gave the couple an unbeatable connection that led to their romantic wedding day.

Our friends at Lamsback Floral Decorations did an amazing job setting the perfect scene for the happy couple’s big day. The elegant chuppah added to the beauty of the touching ceremony.

With such stunning scenery, it wasn’t hard for the Phillip Gabriel Photography crew to capture the day right alongside the Allure Films team. They did a great job photographing the couple and the joyful guests throughout the day.

The pair seems to glow in their love at the ceremony, and that glow turns to electricity on the dance floor at the reception. Family members and friends watched the happy couple as they danced their first dance to celebrate their future together. To tug at our heartstrings more, Evan’s brother recounted a story about how Evan told him how lucky he is to have Michelle, from the very first day they met.

Heating Things Up At Amy & Scott’s Wonderful Winter Wedding

As we enter into the summer wedding season, it is important that we do not forget some of the beautiful weddings of couples who were married in the winter. Amy & Scott’s romantic winter wedding is definitely one for the books, and Allure Films had a blast capturing every second of it!

The two were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony held at St. John the Evangelist before heading over to the reception that followed at Finley Catering’s Crystal Tea Room. Evantine Design created all the beautiful floral arrangements and décor seen throughout the ballroom, which perfectly complemented the stunning chandeliers and soaring ceilings. As our crew was filming throughout the day, Alison Conklin was also there to photograph all the incredible moments and scenery from beginning to end.

EBE’s band Dreamtime had everyone busting a move on the dance floor, including the youngest members of the bridal party: the adorable flower girls and ring bearer. Aside from dancing the night away, everyone was treated to a delicious meal and touching speeches dedicated to the couple of the day.

A Picturesque Outdoor Setting For Anya & Russell’s Wedding Day

There’s nothing like an Appleford Estate wedding!

Just a few months ago, Anya and Russell said “I do” outside on the grounds of the picturesque arboretum, filled with boxwood gardens and blossoming trees. Anya happens to be part of the Philip Gabriel Photography team, so you can just imagine how ecstatic her coworkers were when Russell popped the question.

If you have been keeping up with our blog, you know that the Allure Films crew is no stranger to working alongside our friends at Philip Gabriel Photography. To simply say we felt honored when Anya and Russell asked us to film their wedding, would be a complete understatement.

For most brides, that short walk down the aisle with their father is a beautiful moment that goes by so fast but one they will never forget, and this definitely rings true for Anya. Anya was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States with her mother and brother when she was 10.

The bride had only seen her father a total of three times since moving to America, and it meant the world to her to have her father present to give her away. Without a secured Visa, Anya was concerned that her father would not be able to be there for her big day. Alas, the stars aligned and Anya’s father was able to be there!

Thanks to Sarah and her team from All About Events, Anya and Russell’s wedding day went off without a hitch on the day they got hitched! Petah Bashano was the visionary behind the couple’s wedding décor of beautiful and exotic dark teal floral arrangements.

The talented performers of BVTLive’s Dream Time provided the beautiful music for the ceremony and cocktail hour that followed. Anya and Russell exchanged vows before friends and family in an interfaith ceremony officiated by Julie Cassidy, Owner and Wedding Officiant of Storied Celebrations.

The couples’ vows to one another were very unique and personal, and even gained a few laughs when Anya vowed to support Russ “even if that means rooting for the Giants and the Yankees…occasionally.”

The celebration continued with a beautiful semi-outdoor reception consisting of a wonderful meal catered by John Serock Catering, and dancing, lots of dancing. DJ Steve Croce of Silver Sound Entertainment played amazing tunes throughout the evening. Anya’s boss Gabe, Philip Gabriel Photography’s owner, even put the camera down for a moment to bust a move! We know this was a day the couple will never forget.

A Wedding At The Union League – Four Years In The Making

After being together for “four years, nine weeks, three days and 19 hours,” Meagan & Michael finally tied the knot before friends and family at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Our filmmakers were there from the beginning to document the preparation before the ceremony, and the stunning footage kept rolling all the way to the end of the reception. Our friends at Philip Gabriel Photography were there to get great shots of Meagan & Michael in front of City Hall and the Art Museum, along with indoor shots of the couple in the Union League’s Four-Diamond hotel The Inn.

Michael’s son stood by his side serving as his father’s best man, while Meagan’s sister served as her Maid-of-Honor and walked her down the aisle. At the end of the night, Meagan & Michael – who are known as “M&M” – cut into an adorable wedding cake featuring a bride and groom M&M cartoon candy wedding topper. The newlyweds loved it just as much as their guests did!
